Why use these Lanyard Quilt Hangers for Exhibits?
|
Features
- Strong yet light. Telescoping bars are made of architectural steel used for roofing and gutters. Archival finish.
- Can accommodate small to very large quilt sizes.
- Quilts hang on lanyard bracket tabs. No special modification of sleeves is required.
- Flattened-C shape of bars means no bulging look at the top of your quilt.
- Brackets are made of pressed aluminum.
- Lanyards allow the top height of quilts to be adjusted as desired. The lanyard cording may be black (most common with black drapes), white, or even custom colors of cord.
- Custom hanging tools are used to raise and lower quilts from the floor. Ladders are not required for most quilts.
- Hook-brackets are used when hanging very large quilts, allowing these quilts to hang immediately below the top pipe.
How do these invisible hanging systems for draped booths work?
1. There is a lanyard with a hook which goes over the top booth pipe.
2. Also on the lanyard is a bracket with a protruding tab which holds the bar.
3. This bracket is held in place by a cord-lock, which allows the user to adjust its height. A second cord-lock allows optional stacking of smaller quilts.

4. The bar rests on the bracket tabs. When the bar is inside your quilt sleeve, the bracket tab pushes a small bit of sleeve fabric into the slot which runs the length of the back of the bars. No modification to your sleeve is required.
5. Except for the smallest of quilts, generally two lanyards are used per quilt. Really small quilts may hang on one.
(Note: A white wall is used only for explanatory purposes. Hung against a black drape, these lanyards and their components become truly invisible.)
6. A magnetic level attached to the bar makes it easy to level.

7. Vollà ! The bar is placed in your quilt's sleeve and then it is hung. Step back and admire ☺
